Think Like a Lion

Warm greetings! I have wanted to share this information for a long time now. I work with many people who struggle with feeling overworked professionally, personally, or in both areas. Many people put off rest, relaxation, and leisure until after they their to-do list is complete. There are a couple of problems with this way of living.

  1. The to-do list is rarely ever complete. There always seems like there is more you could add. It might be house chores, work responsibilities, or the “life administration” stuff like scheduling appointments, routine vehicle maintenance, or taking care of the kids’ school meetings. If we wait until “everything is done” we will never rest.

  2. This method is counterintuitive to successful, sustainable work output. We cannot consistently put out our best work if we are exhausted. We need to rest and relax before we do our work.

In the video linked here, learn more about this common issue and remember the key take away “think like a lion.” You’ll see what I mean.
