Do you ever get the voice in the back of your mind telling you that you “don’t belong'“ or you are going to “mess up?” It is a really unpleasant feeling. You may be familiar with the term “imposter syndrome.” People often use it to describe a feeling—typically at work, though it can arise in any setting—when they they feel as if they are not qualified for the position that they hold or that they don’t deserve to be in that space. They question their abilities and doubt they deserve that position. They often look around and think everyone else has things all figured out and their life together.
